Since
it was initiated in October 2000, RAWF's achievements include
the following: |
- Women's Voice Project which has achieved the following:
- The research carried out during this project
has greatly helped us in identifying the various women
groups in the district and the activities each group
is involved in;
- We have identified the locations, strength
and areas of weaknesses of these groups
- We have gathered enough information, which
will help us in the creation and sharing of information
among women and capacity building through teaching
and exchange of skills;
- Women's Groups have been formed as a result of the program
workshops and their themes;
- Widows and orphans are approaching UWESO for assistance;
- We have also been able to extend our programs and services
to a few other sub-counties although we are still facing
funding and transport problems;
- Families who have been displaced by the war are being
reunited.
