This has been done to introduce our project to the local leaders,
civil society groups etc, and invite interested partners willing
to work with us.

This was carried out at no cost and several groups were registered
with us; we expect others to come register with us soon.

ACHIEVEMENTS
OF WVP
- The
local leaders have realized and appreciated the energetic
move of the women’s groups.
- Men
and the youth have been motivated to join the women’s
groups.
- The
women’s economic position, which had been low (in
some cases), compared to that of men is likely to rise.
- Women
are actively participating irrespective of their age and
tribes.
- Other
groups have been identified and considered for coverage.
- Their
issues and needs have been captured and forwarded to the
organizations concerned.
